India and Pakistan: the Cruel Difference

India and Pakistan: there's a very, very special difference.

India had a Very, Very Special second innings.

Pakistan had a very, very *ahem* 'special' first innings.

Test cricket is aptly named: it tests. It tests bowlers, batsmen, fielders, and captains' resilience and strategical thinking as well as execution alike. And it cruelly exposes deficiencies in any. Which is why we like it. Right?!

VVS scored more than whole Pakistan could score..

But that doesn't end up story. India has also got out something nearby Pakistan's total earlier.

Hope too see India vs Pakistan match sooner or later.

I think Pakistan suffered from all the turmoil surrounding the selection of the XI at the moment.

After all, they beat Australia. Admittedly in England and admittedly an Australia that's not the best Australia has to offer, but still ...

I'm looking forward immensely to the upcoming India-Australia Tests. Particularly since our Australian selectors (and Punter) have indicated that they want to keep the Australian XI as is (or, as it was in England), which they consider to be the proper 'Ashes XI'. I think that they are sadly mistaken. Our tour in India will give a good indication who's right about this. (Well, of course, I know I am, but it's nice to have as much evidence as possible backing up my righteousness. ;) )
